Barzani .. expired plays the chord of Independence
06/02/2016 04:41 |   Spokesman Hussein Zaidi

Again overlooking the leader of Iraq's Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani, to play the chord "independence" from Iraq, despite the difficult economic and security conditions experienced by the province and the center at the same time, in spite of the storm of political differences between the party blocs within the region about the nature of the system The choice of president and the sharing of power, especially since most of the Kurdish people has become president, "Barzani" describes the demands for independence ... President "ending the state" and a stickler power.

"Power" might be a motivational reasons for Barzani to repeat his calls for independence from Iraq, especially since he knows that the demands of this ambitious level does not fit is not good while not a place with a confusing situation experienced by the region first, and Iraq Secondly, the region and the world's third ... but it's still insisting on a "throw a stone in the dark, perhaps hit the target."

Even if we assume for argument, and away from the situation and external influences, that Kurdistan became the overnight full state independence and its administrative boundaries and enjoy sovereignty over its territory assumed ... it will run the state? Do be managed by "Barzani" and his family, as is happening now in the region?

In 2007 the organization "Human Rights Watch" World Human Rights issued a terrifying details "about the torture and abuses taking place in prisons run by the Kurds in the Kurdish region of northern Iraq."

In the current year (2016) issued by Amnesty International (Amnesty International's) lengthy report confirmed that "the Kurdish Peshmerga forces in northern Iraq were destroyed thousands of homes in the context of an organized attempt to remove the Arab villages and communities of the region."

The organization stressed in its report that "the government forces in the Kurdistan region may have committed war crimes in areas recaptured from al (Daash)."

The human rights organization says that "These findings have reinforced satellites that show evidence of widespread destruction carried out by the Peshmerga forces, and in some cases militia Yazidi, a Kurdish or from Syria, Turkey images of armed groups operating in coordination with the Peshmerga."

The organization's report pointed out that "the Kurdistan Regional Government forces now prevent Arab residents who were forced to flee their return to their homes in areas restored."

Barzani called this time to a "referendum" to self-determination, stressing that "the referendum does not mean that declares the people of Kurdistan state as soon as the results, it means that everyone knows what he wants the people of Kurdistan to the future and how they will choose their own destiny," adding that "the political leadership in Kurdistan will implement the will of the the decision of the people in a timely manner. "

But the most important question that comes in this context ... who represents the "political leadership" in the region? Is it represented "Barzani" stickler power even with the vast demands Bnthia?

I can not imagine how they would form a Kurdish state under the rule of Barzani, except through quoted by international human rights organizations, former and current, and object to it let them call Barzani to respect the desire of the Kurdish people and step down from power, and make way for others across the peaceful transfer of power within the region, rather than "bubbles" of air bar, between now and then.

Everyone knows that the next stage will be decisive in the history of Iraq and the fight against terrorism, particularly as he was preparing to expel the organization Daash of Mosul, and therefore we need everybody united not scattered, and the voices that sing outside the flock will be published ruin and failure rather than success in the mission.

In addition, Iraq is suffering economic conditions difficult, the region is not an exception of them, and no one knows how it will end, and to what extent the last, and the first to focus on ways to avert the economic crisis and the search for other sources of income in which all cooperate, rather than making threats to withdraw or independence .

Call for independence have tax too expensive, the Iraqi people will be the (Kurdish and Arab) lives and not politicians, Iraq (Arabs and Kurds), so let's focus on the cross to safety the West instead of meeting the aspirations of those who do not represent us.
