OOTW: HOW DOES THE US FEDS INCREASING RATES APPLY TO THIS, IF APPLICABLE?

Butifldrm: Her heee  Butifldrm: Lol
Butifldrm: China has basically de pegged from the dollar

OOTW: OKAY, SO HOW DOES THE FEDS INCREASING RATES HERE EFFECT THE VALUE OF THE USD?

Butifldrm: well the USD index is at an all time high
Butifldrm: There is a flight of capital from all countries to the US bond market, but IMO that's a bubble
OOTW: HMMMM
OOTW: DID YOU READ WHERE THE WEALTHY ARE MOVING MONIES TO NEVADA, WY AND SD?
 ~~~
Butifldrm: This flight of Capital is driving the dollar higher, but truly have the Amercan citizens seen any increase in purchasing power
Butifldrm: Nope  Butifldrm: Only infuel   Butifldrm: The high dollar will kill our exports
OOTW: IT SEEMS MUCH MANUFACTURING HAS ALREADY BEEN KILLED LONG AGO
OOTW: DID THEY DO THIS TO BOLSTER THE VALUE OF THE USD?
OOTW: IT JUST SEEMS LIKE THE USD CAN'T HOLD UP MUCH LONGER - IF A REPUB GETS IN THEY WANT TO BRING BACK JOBS...BUILDING MANUFACTURING LEADING TO MORE EXPORTS PERHAPS, THEN WHAT HAPPENS TO THE VALUE OF THE USD
OOTW: IT'S A COMPLEX ISSUE FOR LAYMEN/WOMAN LIKE MYSELF
OOTW: BUT SOMETHING WE NEED TO LEARN MORE ABOUT
OOTW: IT JUST SEEMS THEY HAVE TO HAVE ENOUGH GOODS TO EXPORT IN ORDER TO MAKE US A STRONG EXPORTER AGAIN
OOTW: AND TO DO THAT I'VE READ THE VALUE OF THE USD HAS TO GO DOWN
OOTW: OR *SHOULD
Butifldrm: Truly IMO Just like the IMF has saw the writing on the wall
Butifldrm: the Fed is clueless    Butifldrm: yes absolutely
Butifldrm: the dollar needs to be devalued, the fed by raising interest rates has given the entire Zero/negative interest rate World the illusion that the US economy is just fine
Butifldrm: when we know it's not
OOTW: IF THEY CAN LIE ABOUT THE VALUE OF FIAT CURRENCIES, THEN WHY NOT?
OOTW: YEAH
Butifldrm: I guess if you compare our economy to Iraq's, Venezuela, Nigeria etc. We are sitting in High Cotton    Butifldrm: but truly the Whole world economically is a mess
Butifldrm: yes   Butifldrm: God has a plan
Butifldrm: Oh let's go back to the IMF Plan
Butifldrm: since 2010 Obama and Geithner approved the IMF 2010 code of reforms
Butifldrm: now we see them instituted
OOTW: OKAY SO WHAT DO THESE ENTAIL?
OOTW: THE PRIMARY ASPECTS?
Butifldrm: Historic Reforms Double Quota Resources and Enhance Voice of Emerging and Developing Economies    Butifldrm: http://ift.tt/1CNjX3q...
http://ift.tt/1nztC7M
Butifldrm: I am praying these reforms have a positive effect on Iraq
OOTW: First, the reforms significantly increase the IMF’s quota resources and its ability to respond to crises more effectively. The combined quotas (or the capital countries contribute) of the IMF’s 188 members will increase to a combined SDR 477 billion (about US$659 billion) from about SDR 238.5 billion (about US$329 billion).
OOTW: Second, they also improve the Fund’s governance by better reflecting the increasing role of dynamic emerging and developing countries in the global economy. More than 6 percent of quota shares will shift to dynamic emerging market and developing countries and also from over-represented to under-represented IMF members.
As a consequence, four emerging market countries (Brazil, China, India, and Russia) will be among the 10 largest members of the IMF. Other top 10 members include the United States, Japan, and the four largest European countries (France, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom).
The 2010 agreement will also enhance the effectiveness of IMF’s decision-making, including in its 24-member Executive Board. For the first time, the IMF’s Board will consist entirely of elected Executive Directors, ending the category of appointed Executive Directors (currently the members with the five largest quotas appoint an Executive Director).
At the same time, the quota shares and voting power of the IMF’s poorest member countries will be protected. Moreover, advanced European countries have committed to reduce their combined Board representation by two chairs by the next regular election of Executive Directors that will take place this fall.
OOTW: OKAY SO LET ME ASK......
OOTW: WHEN THEY SAY THEY WANT TO INCREASE VOTING POWER FOR OTHER COUNTRIES
OOTW: WILL THIS INCLUDE IRAN AND IRAQ AS SOME PEOPLE HAVE SPECULATED?
OOTW: GIVING THEM MORE SAY SO IN THE IMF?
rocknrollbus: prolly
Butifldrm: Well, Iraq has no voting rights at this time with the IMF
OOTW: DOES IRAN?
Butifldrm: No
OOTW: HERE'S THIS JUST CAME OUT TODAY   OOTW: http://ift.tt/1Hx7Lk5...
Butifldrm: Wow great find
Butifldrm: yet, that's a minute amount compared to the countries who share the SDR basket
OOTW: OKAY SO THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE VOTING POWER ARE THE HEADS OF THE CENTRAL BANKS
OOTW: SIEF IS THE HEAD OF THE CENTRAL BANK OF IRAN
OOTW: LAST I READ, THE US HAD ABOUT 22%
OOTW: DOES THAT SEEM CORRECT?
Butifldrm: yep, why do u think our Congress passed it
Butifldrm: they have denied since 2010
OOTW: OKAY TO GIVE THE OTHER MEMBERS MORE POWER?
OOTW: YEAH
Butifldrm: So here comes the AIIB
Butifldrm: IMO these 2010 code of reforms were pushed through by our government in the event the AIIB took precedence over the World Economy
Butifldrm: Congress has put these reforms off, even under a democratic House and Senate since 2010
Butifldrm: Obama and Geithner made the deal
OOTW: OKAY SO ENACTING THE REFORMS HAS STAVED OFF THE AIIB TAKING LARGER CONTROLS?
Butifldrm: of course the us had to come up with a large chump of change to vote in this agreement
Butifldrm: US
OOTW: AH WOW
OOTW: SO DO YOU THINK THE ACCEPTANCE OF REFORMS BY THE US IS SOLELY TOKEN?
rocknrollbus: ‹@Butifldrm› ‹@OOTW› ............So what will or what is our asset for the greenback?
OOTW: OR WILL IT HAVE AN EFFECT ON GLOBAL ECONOMY?
Butifldrm: Now, there is a competetion to control the World Economy
Butifldrm: Learde came out herself and said that if these reforms were not instituted the IMF would loose credibility
Butifldrm: I keep my eyes on China, Gold, the Fed Butifldrm: the IMF - Now the AIIB
Butifldrm: oh yea and the game changer OIL
OOTW: China and Iraq pledged to establish a long-term, stable energy partnership with a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed on oil and gas on Tuesday.
China is willing to increase energy cooperation with Iraq, including oilfield projects and refinery construction in the Middle Eastern country, said Chinese Premier Li Keqiang during talks with Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi in Beijing.
Abadi has asked for increased Chinese investment in “infrastructure building, oil, electric power and telecommunication”. They agreed a long-term and comprehensive strategic partnership on energy cooperation, especially in the oil and gas sector, would be established, a joint statement said on Tuesday.
“More investment will be channelled to the energy sector and governments and enterprises will be encouraged to cooperate in the areas of crude oil trade, oil-gas exploration and development, oilfield engineering service technology, construction of storage and transportation facilities, chemical refining engineering, and energy equipment,” it said.
China and Iraq inked five new agreements in the “economic, technological, military, diplomatic and energy fields” said a statement from the Iraqi Prime Minister’s Office.
The two prime ministers also reached a consensus on using China-made equipment to support oil-gas exploitation in Iraq, said China’s Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Ming after the agreements signing ceremony.
Li and Abadi also witnessed the signing of an agreement on the promotion of China’s ambitious projects: the Silk Road Economic Belt and 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.
The Silk Road connected China and Europe from around 100 B.C. The 4,000-mile road linked ancient Chinese, Indian, Babylonian, Arabic, Greek and Roman civilizations. Iraq is now officially on board joining China’s “One Belt, One Road” project.
The Silk Road could be the second China-led project in recent months to attract a flurry of EU participation. In March this year, China’s President Xi Jinping said he hoped its annual trade with the coun
OOTW: Under the so-called “One Belt, One Road” initiative, China aims to create a modern Silk Road Economic Belt and a 21st Century Maritime Silk Road to boost trade and extend its global influence. “Iraq is an important partner of China in the region,” Li told Abadi on Tuesday. ‘
China supports “Iraq’s economic reconstruction and will encourage competitive enterprises to participate in energy, electric power, telecommunication and infrastructure reconstruction projects in Iraq,” said the joint statement. Li also vowed that China will aid Iraq improve its production capacity in the areas of cement, steel, flat glass and engineering machinery.
Li also urged Iraq would take effective measures to ensure the safety of Chinese companies and citizens in Iraq. “The fight against terrorism and efforts to confront Daesh (ISIS/ISIL)” figured heavily in talks between the Chinese President Xi Jinping and the visiting Iraqi Prime Minister.
Abadi’s official visit to China from Tuesday to Wednesday is his first since taking office in September 2014. “The visit came at the right time and will help the strategic cooperation and aid our aim to establish strategic relations with Iraq,” Xi told Abadi according to the Iraqi PMO. “
Our position is clear in respect of Iraqi sovereignty and taking the consent of the Iraqi government in the fight against terrorism,” said the Chinese President. Turkey on Sunday announced it would “continue” to pull its troops out of northern Iraq after US president Barack Obama urged president Recep Tayyip Erdogan to do so in order to de-escalate tensions with Baghdad. T
he Baghdad government had earlier this month strongly criticized Turkey and the US for their commitment to send troops to battle the Islamic State and other terrorist groups in northern Iraq.
“China is keen to expand its military and defense cooperation, training and building of the Iraqi military capabilities and the exchange of information and military industries, and we are ready to respond to support Iraq in these areas, as well as
OOTW: TYVM R&R BUS
rocknrollbus: Just trying to figure out if the AIIB will overtake the roll of the IMF?
OOTW: NOT AT ALL SURPRISING THAT I'M FINDING THINGS WE'VE DISCUSSED HERE IN CHAT TURNING UP AS "EXCLUSIVE" NEWS AT OTHER SITES....AFTER WE TALK ABOUT IT HERE
OOTW: TOO MUCH
Butifldrm: ok not sure if all of this will post
Butifldrm: The visit of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to China in the atheist of the month of December the past to serve as a re-opening of the Silk Road to extend this time directly from Baghdad to Beijing ..
It resulted in the visit are very important results, including the al-Abadi asked the Chinese not to allow the export of any goods not conforming to specifications to Iraq and this will get rid of those (trash) that we receive from the land of dragons! ..
as well as agreements and memorandums of understanding signed between the two sides in the military and oil and investment fields in various fields what gives the clear impression that the partnership strong strategy between the fat began her features clear and Iraq will be the most side benefit of this partnership,
because the Chinese have put Iraq sights for many years while waiting for their chance to enter strongly per Iraqi investment environment ..
It strengthens this partnership and reinforce is the need that Iraq is moving strongly towards accession to the Asian Investment Bank, which was established in China and engaged in membership of 60 countries from Asia, Europe, Africa and Latin America,
and means the bank to grant loans to Member States for the implementation of projects in the field of infrastructure and filling the needs of the inhabitants of these services, be sure to Iraq's accession to the membership of this bank would give him the possibility in the face of economic challenges in the investment side
and investigation services in the light of the increasing steadily for the population (about 37 million people), as well as the liberation of the Iraqi economy from the pressure exerted by some international institutions
.. It is certain that China and management of the fund will accept on Iraq strongly if asked to join him because of the strategic location of the Mesopotamia on the Silk Road, and of course that the conditions of access to loans from this fund will not be similar to the conditions of the International Monetary Fund, but is affordable
