THE IRAQI DINAR HAS BEEN RECOGNIZED

INTERNATIONALLY SINCE DECEMBER 2013

Singleton Press, February 1, 2015

It's exciting that Iraq has voted into law it's budget for 2015. Now it can disburse funds and bring more unity between the Kurds, Sunnis and Shiites. Remember that people were questioning if Iraq needed to have the money before it passed the budget, but now we can see clearly that Iraq needed the budget in place before it could have the money. Now they have the money and you'll begin seeing many articles talking about how Iraq is going to pay salaries and the military and whatever else.

We still have a way to go with the Sunnis, such as the Accountability and Justice Act and Amnesty Law, these are being read in the coming week and it looks like the parliament is rushing (like molasses) the Oil & Gas Law (HCL) into two readings and a vote this week as well.

I've also been reading many people in the Dinar community talking about Iraq “still” needing an internationally recognized rate; however, the current rate already became internationally recognized in December of 2013. You can see for yourselves in this article: http://ift.tt/1DD4FtR

I think there are so many news items and differing opinions that it's easy to overlook or forget some of the articles.

We are not looking for an internationally recognized rate, just like there was no such thing as “an emergency RV” before the budget. The rate is already recognized internationally by the Bank of International Settlements, it's official. What's important is that the CBI and the Parliament are pushing through the “economic laws”, beginning with the Oil and Gas. This includes the laws that will create more unity, such as releasing Sunnis who are wrongly imprisoned under the Amnesty Law and Accountability and Justice Act. I also believe Iraq's parliament will be adopting the Accountability and Justice Law (amends the De-Baathification Law), but the most important for the CBI to have in place for revaluing the currency is the Oil & Gas Law.

One more note, you can see from this article http://ift.tt/1CXgMU6 that the Federation Council is an important law, as it creates the Senate within the Iraqi Parliament, giving the new democracy a bicameral legislative body like every other modern democracy. It's not just another layer of bureaucracy as some have incorrectly stated, just like the Oil & Gas Law is vital to their economic stability as the old version does not help them move forward.
